I had a wish.

When I was a young girl, my greatest birthday wish was for a big box of crayons with a built-in sharpener. The thought of coloring with sharp, pointy crayons was exciting to me — I wanted to create precise lines, to contour and define every shape, the way my Dad taught me.

Today, lines mean so much more to me. They are no longer just the contours of a drawing — they have become symbols of expressive freedom, allowing me to create flowing compositions that emulate a continuous journey, without a true beginning or end, telling a story along the way.

I am a citizen of the world, with “home” being wherever my heart finds joy. I have lived in many places, but when I am creating art, I am home.

Nature is my constant muse — a healer, a resilient friend, pure beauty in constant transformation.   As Henri Matisse said “There are always flowers for those who want to see them.”

Today my wish has evolved. Through my work, I aspire to build a bridge between the viewer and the natural world, inviting a quiet conversation about the unexpected beauty surrounding us. My art is an offering — a sharing of the joy, wonder, and peace that creating brings me.
